Frank T. Medici
President

Frank Medici has been the President of Berkley Capital since 2006. Prior to joining Berkley Capital LLC, Frank was a Managing Director in the financial institutions group, investment banking at Morgan Stanley & Co. and, prior to that, he was an attorney specializing in corporate law with the firm of LeBoeuf, Lamb, Greene & MacRae, LLP. Frank holds a B.S. in Engineering from the University of Connecticut and a B.A. in Liberal Arts from Fairfield University and both a M.B.A. and J.D. from Fordham University.

William L. Mahone
Managing Director

Bill Mahone has been a Managing Director of Berkley Capital since 2002. Prior to Berkley Capital, Bill was a Vice President and the General Counsel of Interlaken Capital, Inc. Earlier in his career, Bill was an attorney at Willkie Farr & Gallagher. Bill graduated from Stanford University with a Bachelor of Arts and holds a Juris Doctor degree from Harvard Law School.

Thomas H. Ghegan, Jr.
Managing Director

Thomas “Bud” Ghegan has been a Managing Director at Berkley Capital since 2013. Prior to joining Berkley Capital, Bud served as a Principal at Founders Equity Inc from 2006 to 2013. Earlier in his career, Bud worked in the private equity and financial services practices of Oliver Wyman in New York and London. Bud holds an M.B.A from Harvard Business School and a B.S. from the University of Virginia.

John F. Kohler
General Counsel

John F. Kohler has served as General Counsel of Berkley Capital since 2007. Prior to joining Berkley Capital he was General Counsel of MTM Technologies, Inc. and Vice President - Mergers and Acquisitions for Interliant, Inc., both of which were publically traded technology solution providers. Earlier in his career he was a corporate lawyer with Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP and an officer in the United States Army. John holds a J.D. from Southern Methodist University School of Law and a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Illinois.
